What can I expect at the event?
ROME, In the Footsteps of Caesar is a unique virtual reality expedition that transports visitors on an immersive journey through Ancient Rome during one of the most fascinating periods in history: the end of the Roman Republic.
Where is the experience located?
The experience takes place at Espace Quatre Cents - 100 Quai Saint-André, Quebec, QC G1K 3Y2
Is the experience indoors or outdoors?
This experience takes place indoors in an air-conditioned room.
How long does the experience last?
The VR experience lasts approximately 45 minutes. We recommend that you allow 15 minutes before the experience to drop off your personal belongings and get ready.
Will food or drinks be available on-site?
Unfortunately, no food or drinks will be available for purchase.
In what language is the experience available?
The experience is available in English and French. Subtitles are not available.
Is there parking nearby?
Many paid parking lots are available near Espace Quatre Cents.
Do you offer guided tours?
No, but our staff is always available during the experience should you need assistance.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Yes, visitors are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use before or after the VR experience.
Please note that the use of flashes and tripods is strictly prohibited.
Are mobile phones allowed inside the immersive VR zone?
No, all visitors must remain calm and whisper in this area so that everyone can fully enjoy the experience.
Is it possible to sit during the experience?
No. The experience is designed for visitors to walk freely for about 45 minutes.
For people with reduced mobility, wheelchairs are accepted, however the experience is not recommended for people with balance difficulties.
What if I wear eyeglasses?
If you wear glasses, you can still take part in the experience. Our team will help you properly adjust the headset for comfort.
Is the experience the same for everyone?
Yes, the experience is identical for each visitor.
What is the minimum age and height required for the immersive expedition?
Children must be at least 8 years old and 1.37 m (4'6") tall to participate.
Any child below these limits will not be allowed to join.
Children remain under the full responsibility of their parents or legal guardians.
Is there a dress code?
For your comfort, we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and suitable shoes.
As you will be wearing a VR headset, please avoid wearing hats or caps.
Will more sessions be added?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will add more dates. Please check the event page for any information regarding availability as well as confirmed dates and times.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
No, there will be no merchandise available on-site.
About tickets
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase.
You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?
For this event, all sales are final and tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or modified. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
Can I make a group booking?
If you wish to book for a group, please contact us at contact@studioshaman.com, specifying your preferred dates and the size of your group.
Regarding accessibility to the event
Do I need to arrive at the exact time of my session?
We recommend that you allow 15 minutes before the expedition to drop off your personal belongings and get ready.
Are animals allowed? Are guide dogs permitted?
Unfortunately, animals are not allowed on the event premises — not even guide dogs.
Is the venue accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the event is accessible to guests with reduced mobility.
Are there prohibited items? Can I smoke or vape?
For everyone's safety, backpacks and handbags are not allowed.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited.
Do you offer tickets for caregivers or companions?
Visitors requiring assistance during the experience can request a free pass for their personal caregiver.
Simply show proof that you require a caregiver at the entrance of the event, and your caregiver will be able to enter for free.
Is the experience accessible for people who are hearing or visually impaired?
Unfortunately, this experience could not be adapted for people with visual and/or hearing impairments. We do our best to make all our experiences inclusive and we recommend you check out other experiences in your city.
Will there be chairs or places to sit during the experience?
This is a walk-through experience. There will be no seating available.
Will there be restrooms available on site?
Restrooms will be available on site. Please ask our on-site staff for directions.
Is there a lost and found area?
We recommend asking the on-site staff if they have found your belongings. If you cannot ask them, please contact us at contact@studioshaman.com.
Is there a cloakroom available?
A cloakroom is available on site. Please ask the on-site staff for directions.
Will there be an audio guide?
Unfortunately, this experience does not include an audio guide.
